As the title reads, welcome to the new home of the Recovery Café on the Internet. We have the basics up at this point, though there are a few other pages yet to “go live”, and we are linking up to social media, etc., this week to help get the word out that we are (still) here to listen.
I have known Larry Walton for several years now, have spent a little over a year working for him as a Recovery Coach, and have benefited greatly in his 30-plus years in the field. Now, we are beginning another chapter together with the intention to provide whatever is needed for individuals or families in dealing with substance use issues.
You can click around the site and see the gamut of offerings from the Recovery Café, and remember the site is not fully fleshed out yet with group details and some other small things, but if you or someone you know might find us of value, please let them know we are here.
Okay, time to come clean, this is a blog entry to show Larry what one looks like in hopes he will fire up his fingers and post one!
I have had the privilege to witness the lives of many individuals during the past forty years of practice. My path has had many forks which have challenged me in some of the ways I have experienced in those with whom I have worked. Exploring these forks has helped me understand more accurately the people with whom I work.
